The Governments Chronic Disease Management program (CDM) allows patients with a chronic condition to access physiotherapy treatment for up to 5 sessions in a calendar year. This has been a very popular service as it allows patients who could not normally afford ancillary services such as physiotherapy, the opportunity to receive much needed treatment. Medicare will fund $52.95 towards your physiotherapy treatment. Under normal circumstances there is a small out of pocket gap payment that will vary depending upon the clinic. At Mead Physio Group, that out of pocket payment amounts to $29.05. However if you are unable to afford this amount we can offer you treatment without a gap payment at one of our bulk billing rooms.
