Day 10 Update

Over 1300kms done!!
Jason and the Coast-to-Coast team are eleven days into their month-long cycling journey across Australia! Together the team have already cycled 1382 kilometres and are about to cross over the WA border into South Australia.
We have loved checking on the daily updates in the Coast-to-Coast 2022 Facebook group and seeing Jason’s smiling face pop up in photos. Richard, a fellow rider has been sharing a rider/support crew story each day and here’s a snippet of his story about Jason
.“Although he is not the ‘official physio’ on this trip, he can’t help himself, he is always giving advice on posture on the bike to prevent injury and soreness. Our actual ‘official physio’ thinks he is so good she is recommending him to her family and friends. I see him also checking up on people who are struggling or doing it tough. He wants the best for people. This is why we are so glad he is along for the ride.”

They made it!!!

Jason and the Coast to Coast team have just returned from their epic 4200km ride across Australia with Compassion Australia to raise funds for children living in poverty. As a group they were able to raise close to $1million which goes directly to the most needy kids around the world.
Jason wraps up his adventure...
“Along the way we met ordinary people doing incredible things. The generosity of the people in the small country towns that we stayed in was humbling and so generous with their time and resources. They fed, showered and housed us and contributed so much to the cause. There were challenges along the way- 1/3 of the group including me caught COVID and we had to negotiate the floods in Eastern Australia, the potholes in NSW, the snakes and kangaroos in Victoria, and the howling winds from the Great Southern Bite. Our group of ordinary riders formed a life-long bond and I am so proud of what we were able to achieve" (as are we! Well done Jason!)
