If you've followed us for a short time, you will know our Director, Jason Wells is a keen cyclist often getting on his bike, hitting the trails and riding many kilometres in support of a number of charities and fundraisers.
His most recent adventure was the Pipeline Challenge - An epic five-day mountain biking adventure that traces WA’s iconic golden pipeline from the red dirt of Kalgoorlie to the green hills of Perth. All for a great cause, the Pipeline Challenge is proudly supporting Youth Futures and their work with young mums and bubs escaping homelessness or domestic violence.
Setting off on May 7th, Jason rode with another 60 riders taking part in the 594km trail!
Jason says:
“The Youth Futures charity ride is about highlighting the needs of vulnerable youth at risk of homelessness. The aim is to raise over $200,000 for the NEST program to assist young mothers to access emergency housing or shelter. The ride is a great way to get outdoors, stretch the legs, enjoy some hard work on the bike and meet people from all over WA who are also passionate about helping vulnerable young mothers.”
Or maybe you've been looking at taking part in a similar challenge yourself? If you’d like to work with our team to increase your fitness and strength so you’re ready to go, we would love to hear from you!
